More than 70 adults are in line for Pleasanton Chick-fil-A Grand Opening tomorrow, Thursday 11/17/16. This tradition goes back 13 years, called Chick-fil-A’s First 100 which has given out nearly $27 million in free food and is the chain’s signature grand opening event. The prize is a digital offer card loaded with a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals (52 meals consisting of a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, medium Waffle Potato Fries and a medium beverage) that will be awarded to the first 100 eligible adults over the age of 17 with ID in line when the doors open around 6 a.m. on Nov. 17.
Much anticipated, the newest Pleasanton Chick-fil-A location, located at Hopyard Road & 580, marks the first free-standing restaurant in the area and is part of the 104 locations opening across the country creating some 9,000 new jobs. The restaurant is a LEED certified building that efficiently uses water, conserves energy and uses sustainable building materials. It also has a two-story interactive children’s play area and free Wi-Fi. The 5,300 sq. ft. building has a dining room that seats 116 indoors and 40 outdoors. As with all Chick-fil-A locations, it is closed on Sundays but open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Pleasanton location is operated by Franchise Operator Aaron Clifford, a Bay Area native.
