Our Partners

The mission of Pleasanton’s Economic Development Program is to provide a positive business climate and a stable economic base for the provision of goods, services, and facilities desired by the community. To guide the city in its goals and objectives for local economic development, the Economic Vitality Committee assesses Pleasanton’s business climate, reviews issues that may impact it, and offers suggestions and recommendations to the City Council. Our community is fortunate to have several information resources on where to shop, dine and enjoy our city.

The development of www.inPleasanton.com is an effort of the Economic Vitality Committee to provide one comprehensive website where the City can attract new businesses and visitors to Pleasanton, encourage businesses to market themselves and increase awareness of the breadth of shopping and dining Pleasanton has to offer. For additional shopping resources, see our Partners’ websites below.

Shop Pleasanton

Whether you’re looking for coupons, gift certificates or reviews, you can find everything related to local business at ShopPleasanton.com. It’s the fastest way to find everything Pleasanton businesses have to offer from the comfort of your own home.

By shopping locally, you’re preserving the distinct character of Pleasanton’s unique shopping districts, including our beautiful downtown core. You’re also supporting the local community by contributing tax dollars that go toward paying for the infrastructure (schools, hospitals, roads, etc.) that we use everyday.

When you choose to shop at a big box store, or buy at an online at etailers like Amazon, most, if not all of your money leaves the community and forces us to fill the gap by increasing taxes or decreasing spending.

Keep our community going strong! Shop Pleasanton!
